      כִּי־הַמֶּלֶךְ בֹּטֵחַ בַּיהוָה וּבְחֶסֶד עֶלְיוֹן בַּל־יִמּוֹט

For the king in Hashem, in the [unlimited] Chesed of the most High, [doing so] he shall not falter.

      Dovid Hamelech teaches us:

      • He only has trust and [joy therefore] in Hashem. Not in other nations, not in the masses. Not in the weapons. Not in the power of the army.
      • He trusts in Hashem’s Chesed which is Higher than any other, He is able to save us and perform good for anyone He chooses. As much or as little as He Wants. He can save all the hostages, He can protect all of us. He can make us victorious in our goals to destroy evil.
      • When contemplating the above, he will not fall into a trap.[1]

During this time of war, am I trusting in any other power to save me?  Am I clear on the fact that Hashem is the source of Chesed from the Highest Place?  Am I remaining steadfast in my trust in His Attribute of Chesed when I daven to Him?

[1] Based on Radak, Tehillim, 21:8
