Tehillim 21: Part 2 , Hashem Strength Revealed

תַּאֲוַת לִבּוֹ נָתַתָּה לּוֹ וַאֲרֶשֶׁת שְׂפָתָיו בַּל־מָנַעְתָּ סֶּלָה (verse 3)

You have given him [ Dovid/ Mashiach] his heart’s desire, and You have not withheld the request of his [Dovid’s/ Mashiach] lips.

A world of Mashiach is not saddled by the limitations of time as we know it as reflected in this verse.  Hashem’s response is not in a perceived form of delay, or “Not Yet” type of response .   His words describe Hashem having already granted him His request before he finished articulating it!   

The Alshich states, that although Hashem already granted Dovid’s request, He added an extra kindness to him.  He also allowed him to speak the words of his request, as an expression of His love to him.  Hashem wanted him to experience the joy knowing that Hashem listened to his words.

I think there are different forms of time we access, depending on the reality we live in.  For example, in Beraishis, we see one type of expression of time;  of “Not Yet”, waiting on actions of Hashem and the human being, as it says:

וְכֹל  שִׂיחַ הַשָּׂדֶה טֶרֶם יִהְיֶה בָאָרֶץ וְכׇל־עֵשֶׂב הַשָּׂדֶה טֶרֶם יִצְמָח כִּי לֹא הִמְטִיר ה’ אֱלֹהִ-ים עַל־הָאָרֶץ וְאָדָם אַיִן לַעֲבֹד אֶת־הָאֲדָמָה

And no plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet grown: for Hashem Elokim had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. (Beraishis 2:5)

Then we see another form of time that seems to replicate the response to Mashiach of “Already responded ” before he completed speaking.

Once Adam davened and Hashem watered the earth,  Adam then experiences a time zone in of instantaneous responses, or already done; aka Shabbos ( a world already prepared).  The verses switch to ,  Adam was planted, he was placed,  all the trees, pleasant to the sight were planted,  and a river went out and so on and so forth.  (Beraishis, 2-10). It is almost as if time was speeding and reversing the slow motion of “Not Yet”; Terem.

It seems to me that if we are able to tune into the words of Dovid Hamelech, we can also access this type of “already” response to Melech Hamashiach. It is  a world no longer  saddled with  sins or obstacles from connecting to Hashem in this eternal way. We really need this type of existence.  Anything other is deficient.  

May we communicate to Hashem in the way Dovid Hamelech taught us to; May anything blocking us from living in a world redeemed be removed.
