Halacha steps prayer

Halacha is the practical manifestation of the Jew’s moral code and intrinsic value system. So rather than act them out by rote, the Jewish heart is poised to resonate with mitzvos. While the finite mind cannot possibly discern the meaning of mitzvos gifted to us by The Infinite Being, the Torah does offer insights into their conceptual matrix, enabling us to adopt strategies for self development.
